![]() ![]() Click ‘Updates’ in the App Store toolbar. ![]() If you’re using High Sierra, Sierra, El Capitan or earlier, these are the steps to follow: How to get updates for earlier macOS versions: Your Mac will notify you when updates require you to restart your Mac, so you can always choose to install them later. You can have your updates install automatically as well! To do so tick the box that says ‘Automatically keep my Mac up to date’. That includes Safari, iTunes, Books, Messages, Mail, Calendar, Photos and FaceTime When Software Update says that your Mac is up to date, the installed version of macOS and all of its apps are also up to date.
